EMPIRE PENNY POST
RESTORATION DEMANDED Asking for tile restoration of the Penny Post from the beginning of the next financial year, a resolution was adopted recently by the Joint Industrial Council of the printing and allied trades, sitting in London. The resolution adds: “The council notes with interest the increase in the postal revenue, and considers that British trade and commerce would be helped considerably by the immediate restoration of the Penny Post throughout the British Empire.
