A Mushroom Doesn't Last for Eighteen Months! It is now eighteen months since I invited the public to buy their furniture direct from my factory. My first announcement made many new friends for me. Competitors noticed my progress but proclaimed it to be of the mushroom variety. But a mushroom doesn't last for a year and a half. To-day I'm doing more business than ever. My factory became too small to use as a showroom too—so I had to take that Symonds Street shop that links with the back of my factory. This is not my "shop" it’s my showroom. I haven't a shop—l'm not a retailer. I'm a manufacturer selling furniture straight to the public greatly LESS than regular retail prices !
