A NEW SATRAP
ANE may be pardoned for referring to a three-year-o!d as a rejuvenated performer, for such applies to Satrap, the ruling favourite for the Great Northern St. Leger on Monday next. Earlier in the season Satrap finished second to Agrion in the New Zealand Derby, but subsequently his efforts in public fell a long way below expectations. His Trentham showings iast month, however, left no room for doubt that the three-year-old can deliver the goods when right, and such being the case his efforts in the President's Handicap on Saturday and the St. Leger should hold considerable interest.
