UNITED PARTY
ORGANISER’S CONFIDENCE “HERE TO STAY” “We hear so much talk about the formation of numerous political parties at present that I consider the time now opportune to correct any misunderstanding as regards the United Party and its progress,” states Mr. A. E. Davy, Dominion organiser of the United Party. “Misleading statements have appeared from time to time concerning the status of the United Party, which is definitely the third party in the field for the forthcoming general elections. “It will be recognised generally throughout the Dominion that the United Party is here to stay. From the beginning of the foundation of the party, its presence and progressive ideals have appealed to the people throughout the Dominion, who have responded with splendid generosity to its support. Progress is developing rapidly in all centres where our organisation offices are now firmly established, and also in the country districts. Many outstanding citizens throughout the Dominion have offered their services as candidates for the party.”
