GUMDIGGER FOUND WITH THROAT CUT
TAKEN TO HOSPITAL (From Our Own Correspondent.) KAITAIA, To-day. A gumdigger, Paul Branich, was discovered in his shack at Sweetwater this morning with his throat cut. His mates telephoned to the police at Kaitaia and Dr. Rix rendered firstaid. Branich. who has been in iil-health for some time and suffering from mental depression, has been removed to the Mangonui Hospital.
