MISSIONARIES FOLLOW ROAD CHRIST TRAVERSED
BETHANY TO JERUSALEM By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. Reed. 12.20 p.m. JERUSALEM, Sun. Members of the World Missionary Conference, in a moving- ceremony, marched in procession from Bethany to Jerusalem, the route Christ traversed, on Palm Sunday. Apart from four halts, where hymns were sung and Bible readings ~ took place, the procession passed in silence. The Bishop of Singapore, addressing the Council, said the younger must teach the older generation a better race attitude. The negro secretary of the Y.M.0.A., South Africa, said that the Christian conscience must be awakened against racial discriminations. The Moslems were strongly appealing to the South African natives, and urging them not to show racial distinctions, like the Christians.—A. and N.Z.
