ing feet on Maundy Thu rsday,'’ said Bishop C herring ton speaking at St. Peter's C a t h e dral y e s t e rday morning, “/n this old c e r e m ony !the Bishop washed the feet of the 12 poor€st men in the diocese on the Thursday before Easter. “It is ® Pity it could not be reintroduced to give reality to the g truth of humility.' 1
