A HARBOUR INCIDENT Only one of many sidelines to the big fire was an incident that occurred off the wharf in the bay. A man came up and stepped from the shore to the boat, but it was too much for the craft, which immediately' capsized and precipitated its occupants into the water. There were two women in the boat, but they were quickly hauled to safety, while most of the men managed to get to shore without much difficulty. It was a sorry crowd who made their way home, taking the back streets to bide themselves
