PROSPECTOR’S DEATH
FOUND AT FOOT OF CLIFF
DISCOVERY NEAR COROMANDEL
(From Our Own Correspondent.) COROMANDEL, To-day. The body of Mr. Oscar William Andrew's. aged 70, a well-known mining prospector, was found on Saturday a: the foot of a cliff, about four miles from Coromandel. Mr. Andrews lived in a hut on a property owned by Mr. S. Do vis, and he had been prospecting on the property where his body was found. He had not been seen for a week, and the discovery was due to a visit to the hut by Mr. Davis. Der.th apparently had occurred three days ago. It was known that deceased was subject to heart attacks, and the circumstances indicate that he suffered a seizure and rolled down the bank. The body was carried over rough country to the nearest road, and then conveyed to Coromandel.
