EGMONT FOREST IN DANGER Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Sunday. The menace of goats, whose depredations it is feared will doom the whole of the Egmont National Park forest, unless drastic action is taken, was brought to the notice of the Minister in charge of Tourist Resorts, the Hon. W. Nos worthy, who opened the additions to the North Egmont hostelry yesterday. Mr. Nosworthv was informed that it was practically impossible now to get rid of th© goats, the only solution being to wage constant war on them with men and trained dogs. The Minister said the news came as a surprise to him, and he would do his best to impress the Government with the seriousness of the matter. j
