CHILD DIES AFTER SWALLOWING NEEDLE

WHILE playing about at his home on Thursday last, George Raymond McDonald, the three-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. George McDonald, of Helensville, swallowed a sewing needle. He was brought to the Auckland Hospital, where an operation was performed, but the child died this morning.
