Fatally Injured. —Mr. D. M. McLeay, who was seriously injured in a motorcar accident at Georgetown last evening, died at midnight without regaining consciousness.—Press Association.
Shield for High School. —The Thames High School has been presented by the Old Boys’ Association writh a handsom shield for competition in the annua! steeplechase.
Singers Wanted. —Additional ba> singers are required for the Municipal Choir. Applications should be forwarded to the city organist, Town Hall.
Unlicensed Lorry. —A fine of Wets imposed upon a motor-lorry driver, Isaac Hunter, of Rotowaro. in the Hamilton Police Court, yesterday, for failing to take out a heavy traffic licence.
Customs Revenue. —The Customs revenue for the year shows decrease on the previous year’s figure:-, being £812,913. against £873,513. The beer duty was £230,129, against £232,16*. —rPress Association* .
