FLOWER TIME
Overgrown with hollyhocks, Overblown with roses, Let us walk the weedy paths, Let us gather posies. We will fill your basket full, Till it's overflowing; And around your hat we’ll twine Poppies all a-blowing. In this garden fair and sweet, Till the evening closes, Overgrown with hollyhock*. Overblown with roses, We will wander, you and I, Picking scented posies.
