MAGNETISM

Here is a very simple little trick that will mystify your friends. Get a cork, a pin and a piece of stiff notepaper. The latter must be about six inches square. Place the cork on the table, and stick the pin into the top of this. Then balance the paper on the head of the pin. Hold your hand, palm downwards, over the paper, but do not let it touch. And you’ll find the paper moving slightly up and down. This all looks very mysterious to your friends, though the movement is explained by the magnetism in your body.
