Pyjama-Clad Man Attacks His Wife

CHASE IN STREET ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT Attired in pyjamas, Richard James Martin, aged 45, chased His wife down the street last night. tJE was charged at the Police Court to-day with assaulting Florella Martin. “I want to say nothing,” was the only plea accused would make. Mrs. Martin, the possessor of a black eye, said that she had been assaulted by her husband last night. A constable, who was called to the house, said he saw Martin, in pyjamas, chasing his wife down the street. Martin was remanded until Thursday for medical observation.
