PARLEZ-VOUS FRANCAIS?—The French Department of Foreign Affairs, at the request of the French Consul in New Zealand, M. Paul Serre, has supplied six books and four medals, silver and bronze, for competition among the pupils of New Zealand secondary schools in the study of the French language. Six books and one silver medal are for Auckland.
