The line of lambs fattened on tile Hautu Prison Farm at Tokaanu and sold at Westfield market on Wednesday is said to be the best line that has yet been offered. The whole lino of 65 averaged £2 2s 9d, which, It is claimed, is the record for such a large consignment. Auckland Meat Company purchased them all. A.M.C. buyers are always keen when quality is offering.
