COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Gunbar, which left Auckland this morning for East Coast bays, Gisborne and Napier, returns here on Saturday week. The Katoa, from Dunedin, left Timaru last evening via Lyttelton and Wellington for Auckland, and is due here about Thursday next. The Wingatui is now to leave Lyttelton on Monday next for Auckland direct, where she is due about April 4. The Waipiata is to leave Auckland at noon to-morrow for Southern ports. She is fixed to load at Dunedin on April 5, thence Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington for Auckland. The Kurow, which arrived at Auckland this morning from Southern ports, berthed at the Prince’s Wharf. She leaves here at 5 p.m. on Tuesday next for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Oamaru, Dunedin and Bluff. The Kaituna is to load at Greymoutli to-day for Auckland, and en route will probably call at Wellington. The Waimea leaves Napier to-day for Auckland and arrives here on Sunday. At 5 p.m. on Monday the Waimea sails from Auckland on her return trip to Gisborne and Napier, and clears the latter<

Early this afternoon the Apanui was dispatched from Auckland for Totara North, Houhora, Kaimaumau and Parenga. The Matangi sails from Auckland at seven o’clock this evening, being due back again at 7 a.m. on Sunday. The Waiuku sails for Waiheke at halfpast six this evening, returning • again at nine o’clock to-morrow morning. The Gael sails at six o’clock this evening for Kawau, Leigh and Mangawai, returning again at eleven o’clock to-mor-row evening. The Omana sails at six o’clock this evening for Waiwera, Mahurangi and Warkworth. She is expected to arrive back again to-morrow afternoon. The Rangitcfco arrives at Auckland at half-past five this evening from Thames, and sails again at noon on Monday on the return trip. The Taniwha arrives from Paeroa at ten o’clock this evening. The vessel is timed to leave on her return trip at halfpast seven on Sunday evening next. The Claymore, arriving at Auckland at half-past three to-morrow morning, sails again at 6.30 p.m. on Sundav on the return trip. The Waipu, expected to arrive at three o’clock to-morrow morning from Kerepeelii, sails again at 11 a.m. next Tuesday for Kerepeehi.
