HOUSE BURNED

FIRE AT MOUNT ROSKILL A five-roomed cottage in Arkell’s Road, Mt. Koskill. owned by Mr. .1. R. Robertson and occupied by Mr. F. Robertson, was totally destroyed by fire after midnight. The cottage was situated on the outskirts of Mt. Roskill beyond the water supply. Mr. F. Robertson, who was living alone in the house, lost practically ail bis furniture and effects, which were uninsured. The house was insured for £4OO in the General Accident and Fire Office.
