PRINCE EDWARD

“ROAD TO ROMANCE”

Piracy, which has now been stamped out entirely, except in Asiatic waters, where Malays and Chinese still create sufficient disturbance to warrant worldwide news of their depredations, was rampant a century ago. Joseph Conrad took advantage of the old conditions to write this most colourful, thrilling, and romantic story that ever came from his pen. Now Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer have given us the screen version of this story, “Romance,” with Ramon Novarro in the principal role. This new Novarro picture is called “The Road to Romance,” and will be shown to-night at the Prince Edward Theatre. Marceline Day, Roy D’Arcy, Marc McDermott and other favourites appear in the cast.
