Accordingly, next Saturday afternoon Waitemata power-craft will again make the Whau a rendezvous.. A comprehensive programme of speed-boat and outbroad motor-boat contests has been arranged, and those interested in speed—and who is not?— will be assured of plenty of excitement. A novel event will be an outboard relay race. The principal races will be speed-boat handicaps of six miles. It is expected that a large number of motorists will again make the trip to Rosebank Road, Avondale, to Robertson’s Point, from a splendid view of the courses can be seen.
