Military Sports at Carlaw Park
SOME GOOD COMPETITORS BIG PROGRAMME ARRANGED With some well-known amateur athletes competing in the running events at the Senior Cadet and Territorial Championships to be staged at Carlaw Park to-morrow-, it is expected that the meeting will attract many fans of the sport. In all, there are over 300 competitors, and the programme drawn up,
rre rfe yj- K? rr; tk rc consists of a good variety or novelty events as well as the athletic championships for all distances. Each company seems to prefer to keep “dark” any surprise packets they may have in store, but it is on the cards that such well-known competitors as L. R. Meredith, Hook, Kerr-Taylor and Cooper are going to turn out for their respective companies.
