CUTTING THE RIBBON.—Mrs. C. E. Macmillan, wife of the member for Tauranga, cuts the ribbon, thus officially opening the new East Coast railway line. The ribbon was held by a daughter of the Mayor of Tauranga and a Maori girl, representing the two New Zealand races.
