PRINCESS AND TIVOLI
“THE LAST FRONTIER” One of the strongest photoplays of the season entitled “The Last Frontier,” will be shown at the Princess and Tivoli Theatres to-night. Featuring William Boyd, Marguerite De La Motte, J. Farrell Macdonald, and Jack Hoxie, all of whom are ieally cast, this is a highly thrilling and realistic film attraction. The • scenes are placed in Western Kansas in 1867, and the story presents such famous frontier characters as x>uiLcL.iu join, wnu Bill and General Custer. The Indians are resisting with all the force at their command the invasion of their territory by white settlers. There are many thrilling battle scenes, the attack upon a wagon train, and the massacre of the settlers being exceptionally realistic. From start to finish “The Last Frontier” is full of dramatic action and thrills and is quite worth one’s while. The work of Mr. Boyd, Miss de la Motte, Mr. Macdonald and Mr. Hoxie in their respective roles is quite artistic. Excellent support was rendered by Mitchell Lewis, Frank Lackteen, Gladys Brockwell, Sally Rand and Junior Coghlan. The humorous story of a wealthy young bachelor who loved not only unwisely but too often is \Vorked out to a startling climax in the UniversalJewel farce comedy “The Irresistible Lover,” which will also be shown at the Princess and Tivoli Theatres tonight. iSTorman Kerry is the bachelor and Lois Moran is the girl who eventually brings him to his senses.
