PROTECTION FROM FIRE
APPLIANCES FOR TAKAPUNA The seaside districts at Milford and Takapuna are to have better fire-fight-ing facilities in future. The Borough Council has authorised the spending of £1,280, balance of a loan raised for fire-prevention purposes, on running Sin and 4in watermains in the Milford Beach and Hauraki areas of the borough.
