LATEST RADIO ACCESSORIES With the perfection of radio, the • ircle of music lovers waa enormously widened. No longer are the Joys of music confined to the few. for a famous vocalist, pianist or orchestra is now as readily heard in every home, and the sole requirement is a good, clear set. That radio goes hand in hand with music has long been realised by the firm of Lewis Eady, Ltd., who early organised a radio department as part of their musical warehouse. And the Marne Qualities which have made Lewis Eady, Ltd. known as the foremost musical house in New Zealand are now establishing their radio department along the same lines. The famous "Crosley” radio goods are sold, together with the best quality accessories obtainable. Every style of radio set is stocked from a small twovalve table model to a wonderful cabinet model costing over £SO. Among the most interesting radio accessories handled are the A and B battery eliminators. Another set that will arouse interest in all amateurs is a four-valve, operating from dry batteries only, and costing £22 10s. For those who wish to obviate the trouble of batteries altogether, a set is now available operated solely by plugging a lead into an ordinary electric light socket —an enormous convenience and one of the most up-to-date developments In modem radio practice. This is a six-valve set, and sells as low as £4B 10s. Another very interesting new arrival is what is known as the “Crosley Merola. which enables the amateur to connect a gramophone to the loud speaker of a radio set.—ll.
