WIRELESS AND NAVIGATION VALUE TO SHIPPING British Wireless—Press Assn.—Copyright Reed. 12.20 p.m. RUGBY, Tuesday. The President of the Board of Trade, Sir Phillip Cunliffe-Lister, stated in the House of Commons today that a wireless-loop directionfinding system was being developed by the Air Ministry as an aid to air navigation. The Board of Trade, he said, was examining the results of those investigations with a view to considering the question of establishing an experimental station in a position where its utility to shipping would be exemplified.—A. and N.Z.
