FAREWELL TO MINISTER

SOCIAL AT NEW LYNN A farewell social was recently given by members of the New Lynn Methodist Church to the Rev. J. R. and Mrs. Nelson, who have been transferred to the Woodend Church, North Canterbury. The circuit superintendent, the Rev. A. Ashcroft, presided over a large attendance. Messrs. W. M. Trigg and J. R. Willis wished Mr. and Mrs. Nelson success. They were presented by the congregation with an electric kettle and toaster.
