TO BLACK FALLS AND LILY FALLS is a trip very few motorists undertake, preferring rather to go to the Hunua Falls. Follow the route through to Manurewa and turn off as though going to the Hunua Falls. After going through the Gorge, however, and running down hill and then rising, take turn to the left where Hunua Road goes sharp to right. At end of clay road leave car and walk along narrow track, through plenty of blackberries to the falls. From Auckland about 30 miles.
