RELIABILITY TRIAL
FROM HAMILTON ON SATURDAY A reliability trial of 220 miles, with an over-night stop at Tauranga, is being organised by the Hamilton Motor-Cycle Club for next week-end. The trial will start from Garden j Place, Hamilton, at 1.15 on Saturday, and on the homeward journey at 9 a.m. on Sunday. A comprehensive table has been drawn up of points that can be gained and forfeited. The trial will be conducted solely by secret checks. At least 30 riders will take part, including possibly a team from Auckland Sports Club. The first prize (to competitor losing least points), “Chrysler” Cup, valued at £ls 15s. This cup has been presented by E. N. Valentine, Esq., for annual competition. The winner also wins a miniature of the “Chrysler” Cup and £7 7s in cash. Second prize is a gold medal and £4 4s in cash. Teams’ prize, silver medal to each of the three members of the team. Entries close on March 28. Young wife: “What's causing the trouble, dear?” "Novice: “I don’t quite know, but I think it must be the exasperator.’’
