DANGEROUS CORNER FOR MOTORISTS

Motorists proceeding up Park Road and intending to go along the road beside the Domain and Hospital on the way to town should watch a telegraph post on the corner of Carlton Gore Road. It is dangerous to keep too much to the left up Park Road, as the car would then strike the post. It is also dangerous to keep out too wide as the car will then meet traffic in the other direction. In this photograph the cyclist had to keep out from the post, and the driver of the “Ford” further still, so that he nearly crashed into the oncoming truck.
