Davis, reported to the Senate that a Partial survey of unemployment by his department revealed that there were 1.874,050 more persons unemployed than in 1925. Mr. Davis declared that it would be impossible, without a large expense, to make a full survey, such as the Senate resolution demanded. —A. and XZ.
