In an effort to solve the heavyweight challenge situation, Tom Heeney New Zealand) was offered a match with F\sko, the winner to meet Jack Dempsey. Heeney was not satisfied with the financial arrangements, upon which Tex Rickard stated that unless he accepted by Tuesday, Risko would be offered a contract guaranteeing a match with Dempsey, providing he fights a further preliminary, probably with Uzcudun.—A. and N.Z.-Sun.
