TRADE WITH CANADA AlLhough Queensland exports £20,000,000 worth of butter every year to England she does not send any to Canada. The Canadian steamers calling at Brisbane are not equipped with a refrigerating plant, hence the inability of the Queensland producers to get theii butter on to the Canadian marMr. J. Macaulay, who left Queensland recently on a tour abroad, will call on the management of the steamship line whose vessels call at Brisbane and try to arrange that ships with refrigerated space call at Queensland ports. Mr. Macaulay is representing the interests of the butter producers in Queensland.
