LADIES’ DIVING CONTEST
UNIQUE STAGE EVENT The concreting of the huge water tank constructed under the stage of the New Regent is now completed, and a diving contest for ladies will be held on Friday and following eveninps A large number of entries have already been received, and keen enthusiasm is being shown in swim mine circles. It has been decided not to hav. a popular vote, but to have competent judges appointed by the Auckland Centre. Entry is free and enti forms may be obtained at the theatror from the secretary of the swimming clubs. To-morrow will be the last da> for receiving entries.
