REINDEER FOR ZOO \ LTHOUGH the weather to-day left little to be desired by Auckland residents, it was probably not appreciated by four new arrivals by the Remuera, which berthed this morning. Four reindeer intended for the Auckland Zoo are on board the vessel, and as soon as they have satisfied the inspector of the Stock Department that they are free from infectious diseases, or whatever kindred ailments the reindeer is heir to, they will be removed to their more comfortable quarters at Grey Lynn.
