CARGO PILLAGING

CASES OPENED ON WAY FROM AUCKLAND NOTHING TAKEN OUT (Special to THE SUN) WANGANUI, Friday. The steamer Herminius, on the run from New Plymouth to Wanganui, last night, wirelessed for police assistance owing to alleged cargo pillaging. Detectives went out to the roadstead early this morning and discovered that four cases had been tampered with on the run from Auckland. Nothing had been removed.
