WELLINGTON COUNCIL
NEW COSTING OFFICER Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. The position of costing officer to the Wellington City Council, which was offered to and rejected by Mr. C. W. Venimore, of the architectural branch of the Railway Department at Frankton Junction, has been accepted by Mr. M. C. Peebles, of Gisborne. He is 37 years of age, and is at present chief clerk in the engineer’s department of the Gisborne Harbour Board. He has had 19 years’ costing experience on engineering works in New Zealand and Australia.
