THEFT OF £75

SEAMAN’S LOSS ACCUSED REMANDED Alleged to have stolen £75 last November from a member of the crew of the s.s. Taniwha, Michael Edward Boyle, aged 34, appeared at the Police Court this morning. A further charge of stealing £ 5 and a bunch of keys worth 3s, was also preferred against Boyle. On the application of Chief-Detective Hammond, the accused was remanded to March 29, bail of £SO being allowed.
