RED CROSS CONFERENCE

DELEGATES ENTERTAINED A very enjoyable reception was given last evening for the delegatee to the Ked Cross Conference by Mn. A. M. Ferguson at her home in Victoria Avenue, Kemuera. In the drawing-room tall vases of deepest blue delphinium were effectively arranged, and flamboyant zinnias added brightness to the supper table. Mrs. Ferguson received her guests wearing a model gown of black chenille embossed velvet. A very sociable evening was spent in playing cards and discussing conference topics and other subjects of mutual interest. Brigadier-General H. B. Champain, Mrs. Champain and almost all of the delegates were present.
