FURTHER LICENCE REFUSED CANADIAN BIBLE STUDENTS By Cable. —Press Association. — Copyright. OTTAWA, Wednesday. The International Bible Students’ Association has been refused a further wireless broadcasting licence because it has been broadcasting lectures containing controversial religious matter. As a result 500,000 signatures have been affixed to a petition of protest. This appeals for the matter to be aired in the House of Commons. The refusal of a licence is declared to be an attack on free speech.—A. and N.Z.
