BIBLE TRAINING
N.Z. INSTITUTE At the monthly meeting - of the directors of the New Zealand Bible Training Institute, Mr. R. L. Stewart presided. The resignation of Mr. W. T. Coad as Hamilton representative was received with regret. The superintendent reported that the session had commenced with 60 students in residence and three out students. Miss G. A. Cumming, of Hamilton, and Mr. E. J. Burns, of Hastings, were accepted as students. Lectures were being given by the Revs. Joseph W. Kemp, Evan R. Harries, E. N. Goring, T. R. Cameron, Messrs. E. M. Blaiklock and H. Xolland. The balance-sheet for the year ended January 31, which showed the total assets at £15,714, was submitted and approved. The total income for general purposes (including students’ board and fees) for the year had amounted to £3,090 6s lid, and the expenditure had been almost the same amount. The date for the annual meeting was fixed for Thursday, March 29, in the Baptist Tabernacle, when the annual report will be presented and brief addresses and musical items will be rendered by the students.
