EAST COAST RACE TRAIN IS FIRST ON NEW LINE
first passenger train to traverse the new link in the East Coast line will run from Frankton to Tauranga to-morrow, conveying passengers to the race meeting at Tauranga. Leaving Frankton at 5.45 a.m., the train will reach Tauranga in time for the first race, and will return in the evening, arriving at Frankton at 11.11 o’clock.
