TWO RECORDS BROKEN INTER-FACULTY SPORTS Two college records were broken by T. E. Henry at the Auckland University College inter-faculty athletic championships at the Domain cricket ground yesterday. In both the 440yds hurdles and 440yds flat the New ZeiP land University championship times were equalled. In the hurdles race Henry the college record by 3see, equalling the time of 28 2-sscc established by 11. D. Morgan, of Otago, llis time of 51 2-ssec for the 440yds flat equalled that of Moves, Canterbury, and Tracey, of Victoria College. . This lowered the local record by 2sec. K. H. Couper failed by Jin to equal the college record of 21ft Sin. The inter-faculty shield was won by the Arts and Commerce faculty with 40 points. Science and Engineering came second with 28, with Training College 25 and Law 23 points. The college staff cup was won by T. E. Henry with 12 points, the run-ner-up, V. C. Butler, securing the staff trophy. The athletic team to represent Auckland at the Easter tournament at Wellington was selected as follows: luOyds, Couper, Minns; 220yds, Minn-. Couper; 440yds. McLeod, Watt; Watt, Gilchrist; one mile, Witten, Gilchrist; three miles, Tizard; putting the shot, Butler. Jenkin; throwing the hammer, Butler; high jump, Thompson; long jump, Tetley, Couper; 120yds hurdles, N. H. Patterson; 440yds hurdles. Patterson. T. E.
