W.C.T.U. CONVENTION
CIVIC RECEPTION IN NAPIER Press Association. NAPIER, Wednesday. The Dominion convention of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union was opened here this evening when delegates from all parts of New Zealand were accorded a civic reception by the Mayor, M,r. J. Vigor Brown. Many other speakers, representing many societies, also extended a welcome and commended the work of the union. Mrs. T. E. Taylor, Dominion president, acknowledged the welcome. The convention will continue over 10 * ays. - - _
