PATENT DISPUTE

INJUNCTION REFUSED (From Our Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Tuesday. An application for an injunction to restrain the Sorensen Spring Company, of Hamilton (Mr. Strang), from making harrows for which plaintiff claimed patent rights, was made by the Farmers’ Wheelwright Company, of Morrinsville (Mr. McGregor), in the Supreme Court to-day. After hearing evidence Mr. Justice Blair said the specifications of the patent embraced too much and were too wide, and for this reason the patent was invalid. Plaintiff was non-suited, with costs.
