DOLORES DEL RIO A FULLFLEDGED STAR
Dolores Del Rio’s first picture as a full-fledged United Artists star will be based on Konrad Bercovici's story, “The Bear Tamer’s Daughter.” The locale is the Carpathian Mountains, and the Mexican star will portray the part of a young lady, who tames bears and gentlemen. Edwin Carewe, now a United Artists’ producer, will direct. Finis Fox, who wrote the screen plays for “Resurrection” and “Ramona,” Inspiration-Carewe pictures in which Miss Del Rio appeared, is now engaged in preparing the scenario for “The Bear Tamer’s Daughter.” The film will be made at United Artists’ studio, Hollywood, this spring.
