HAYSTACK BURNED

INCENDIARISM SUSPECTED (Prom Our Own Correspondent) NEW PLYMOUTH. Monday. Incendiarism is suspected to be the cause of the loss of a stack of hay on the property of Mr. H. Sol wav. at Bell Block, on Saturday night. The stack which was 50ft. long, was the crop of a 12-acre paddock, and was valued at £2OO. It was not insured. Attempts made to suppress the fire were of no avail. The loss of winter feed which this lias caused is a severe one for the owner, who has a herd of valuable pedigree stock.
