YEAR-OLD BURGLARY
PRISONER SENTENCED Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. Following a burglary which occurred in a local milliner’s shop in February, 1927, Patrick Joseph O’Connor, a labourer, aged 82 years, pleaded guilty before Mr. E. Page, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court to-day, with receiving ladies’ coats and hats valued at £2l 10s, knowing them to have been dishonestly obtained. Accused, who had a long list of previous convictions, was sentenced to 12 months’ imprisonment,- .
