Harry Smith, the driver of the cart, and Leslie Jones, aged three, who was also on the received severe head injuries. 1 red Couper. the tramway motorman, was severely bruised. All three were taken to hospital. /The child underwent an operation early in the evening, and his condition at 10 p.m. was very lot*.
